Another Reason I Love To Live In Kona

There are so many reasons why we have a wonderful life here in Kona, but one of the ones that was recently brought to mind is the lack of Hurricanes on this side of the big island. We are fortunate that there are 2 very large mountains between us and most of the incoming storms. A volcano can be scary, but it is great for stopping storms. Hilo got hit pretty badly with downed trees and power lines and lots of rain.
