There are many reasons why I love living in Hawaii, but here are 3 of the Top Reasons why I love living in Hawaii, and particularly Kailua-Kona.  I have lived here for over 23 years now, and these reasons are still the same:

1]  The Aloha Spirit - People who live in Hawaii are naturally happier, healthier, more loving people.. why?  Because we always appreciate the fact that we Live in Hawaii!  The people here, especially the old time locals who were born & raised here in Hawaii, have a genuine authenticity of Love that exudes from their beings.. and therefore the lands they steward.. the flowers, the trees, the lava, even the ocean.. all exude feelings of love & appreciation.  Here is a video of our Hawaiian Office Blessing of Island Home Realty at our newest location on Kona Coast Shopping Center.  Kahu Kealoha Sugiyama is from Kohala, and explains what Aloha means-

2]  Sunny Weather - Waking up to a beautiful day, with birds chirping & blue skies really helps me to start my day with a little pep .  Because I never take for granted that I live in Hawaii, I always appreciate waking up with a Positive disposition.. it really helps make a beautiful in Hawaii that much sweeter!

3]  Quality of Life - People who live in Hawaii, generally have a better quality of life - because of the beautiful weather, we like to walk, jog, swim, golf, dance, bike, hike, fish, camp, ride horses, plant medicine food, surf, ATV, visit waterfalls, zipline, canoe paddle... anything outdoors!  I love to garden & I also have a caretaking business to balance my Real Estate career, so I can help people own property, and also help care for the property itself.
