Wont it be great to help keep our beaches clean for generations to come?

Here's an opportunity to participate and make a difference:

The event seeks to clean up beaches from Keauhou to Kawaihae, and Honoli'i in Hilo. Check-ins on the west side will begin at 8am; cleanup starts at 8:30am. Check-in stations will be at the last pavilion at Old Airport Beach Park, the Puako Boat Ramp, Kohala Divers in Kawaihae Harbor, and Honoli'i. Participants will be provided with shirts, trash bags, gloves and other materials they will need for cleanup. After the cleanup lunch with music, prizes and activities will be offered at Old Airport Beach Park. Potential sponsors and interested people can call 896-6966.
