The Annual Mango Festival will take place on the beautiful Bayfront Lawn of the Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa at Keauhou Bay, from 10am-5pm. The festival presents the magic of fresh, ripe, delicious Hawai`i Island grown mangos. There will be displays of the many varieties of mangos locally grown on Hawai`i Island. Hawaiian mangos, which are not exported to mainland USA, will be showcased in a variety of horticultural and culinary activities. Festival attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a wide array of mangolicious treats and smoothies offered by local vendors. An amateur recipe contest offers the local home chef a chance to to create and share delicious recipes using mangos in salads, entrees and desserts.
